The Sprinter is also built at several plants worldwide and serves in many countries as a base for ambulance and mobile workshop conversions.

When buying a used example, check the mileage and service history of the diesel engine, the condition of the turbocharger and exhaust after-treatment system and, on chassis-cab versions, corrosion on the frame and body.
