In type designations such as Arcos 4642, 4745 K and 4942 M, the first two digits give the power class in tens of hp and the following ones the axle configuration; the suffixes K and M mark different chassis and body variants. The Arocs targets mainly construction, heavy-haul and municipal transport, for which it is fitted with a reinforced frame, all-wheel drive and tipper or concrete-mixer bodies.
