Lovol TB

The TB-504 is powered by a water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine of 3,168 cm³ displacement, producing 50 hp, equivalent to 37 kW, at 2,400 rpm. Gross weight is 2,540 kg and top speed is 40 km/h, giving a power-to-weight figure of roughly 50.8 kg per hp. The three-point hitch lifts up to 2,200 kg. At 3,580 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 2,620 mm high, the TB-504 is a mid-power-class tractor.

At 40 km/h the TB-504 reaches the upper limit of licence class L; higher speeds would require class T. The 2,200 kg lift capacity of the rear hydraulics is enough for medium-weight implements such as a plough, rotary harrow or bale grab, of the kind used in general arable and grassland farming and in light municipal work.

When buying a used Lovol tractor of this size class it is worth running a function test of the hydraulic pump and the lift, since the stated lift capacity is only reached with intact seals and valves. The cooling system should also be checked, engine hours compared against the outward condition, tyres and brakes inspected, and it is worth checking for a dealer nearby, as spare parts for this import brand are not equally available everywhere.
