Long Other models

This page gathers the Long tractors the register could not assign to a named range. Long was not an independent tractor maker but an American importer and distributor that sold tractors from the Romanian maker UTB (Uzina de Tractoare Braşov), which exported under the Universal brand, in North America under the Long name. Long's type numbers follow their own numbering, distinct from the original Romanian programme, in which the first digits indicate the power class and the last the equipment level; the R9500 Special marks a later, more powerful version. The engines come overwhelmingly from UTB's own diesel production, supplemented by a few Perkins units in the higher power classes.
