For a used purchase, the main checks are rust on the sills, wheel arches and load area, and the condition of the gearbox and brakes, particularly on older Sherpa and 2-Tonner versions. Parts for the Sherpa remain readily available through the British commercial-vehicle and classic-vehicle market.
