This page brings together the models MF 154, MF 174, MF 184 and MF 194, which Landini built at its Fabbrico plant and which were offered in Germany through the Massey Ferguson distribution network. All four models run three- or four-cylinder diesel engines between 2.5 and 4.1 litres displacement. Landini has belonged to the SAME Group since the 1960s and, under such distribution agreements, also supplied identically built tractors under other brand names.

Through the partnership with Landini, Massey Ferguson broadened its German line-up in the mid-power segment with compact field tractors, sold alongside its own MF series built in Britain and France. For workshops and buyers, the Italian origin was often recognisable only from the chassis and certain components, while externally the tractors appeared as regular Massey Ferguson models.
When buying used, check the hours and service history of the three- or four-cylinder, the condition of clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics, and rust on the fenders and bonnet; parts are supplied through both Landini and Massey Ferguson dealers. as well as the brakes, steering and front-axle bearings.
