Krieger is one of Germany's specialists for narrow-track tractors – tractors that at about one metre wide drive in hop gardens, vineyard rows and orchards where standard tractors do not fit, and yet bring the power and hydraulics of a full-size tractor. The K range is the maker's programme: the type logic gives the hp class in the number – K 50 A about 50 hp, K 70 A 70 hp, K 80 A 80 hp – on the four-digit types K 502 A to K 1002 A the power step with an appended generation digit, K 1002 A about 100 hp; A marks four-wheel drive, standard on all models of the range. The engines are bought-in three- and four-cylinder diesels of 2.3 to 3.6 litres at 2,200 to 2,500 rpm, as the narrow-track class sources from suppliers such as Perkins, Deutz and VM.

The narrow-track market is small and regional – Hallertau, Palatinate, Moselle, South Tyrol – and in it Krieger competes with the specialist ranges of Fendt (200 V/F), New Holland (T4 V/N/F), Same (Frutteto) and Antonio Carraro; the argument of the small series is adaptation to the customer's row width and implements.

On used tractors, operating hours, engine condition, clutch and shuttle, four-wheel-drive clutch and steering, track-width adjustment, hydraulics and PTO for sprayer and mulcher count; engine parts run through the engine makers, machine parts through Krieger.
