Kinta is a register brand spanning from compact tractors to the upper mid-range; the four-digit types reflect the power in hp divided by ten, ending in a four – the 1854 sits at the top of the span at around 185 hp, the 304 at the bottom at around 30 hp.

The register lists here 7 versions with 22 to 138 kW, or 30 to 185 hp, with diesel engines throughout.

The span from small yard tractor to powerful puller covers different fields of use, from grounds maintenance and haulage on smaller holdings to tillage and draft work, where the stronger types of the range are called for, while the smaller models stay light enough for everyday yard and transport duties.

Buying used, the small types are worth checking for clutch and rear-axle seal condition, the large models additionally for turbocharger and injection system; as a niche brand, parts supply is limited and should be clarified before purchase, together with the availability of a workshop manual for the specific model.

For PTO and lift, the smaller Kinta types match the 540 rpm standard with category I, the mid-range versions category II, and the most powerful above around 110 kW already category III under ISO 730. The exact category therefore depends more on the individual model than on the brand name as a whole.
