The range from light 3.5-tonne trailers to 45-tonne combinations shows that Kary offers both simple transport trailers and dolly systems for heavy haulage, as used for hauling construction machinery, precast elements or containers in semi-trailer combinations. Beyond the cargo itself, in the dolly versions it is above all the combination with the respective semi-trailer or trailer that determines the gross weight of the whole vehicle combination.

On a used example, the dolly versions call for checking the kingpin or drawbar eye and the coupling gear as well as the axle bearings, and on the lighter models the overrun brake and side panels; rust on the frame and axle mounts and the function of the air braking system on the heavy versions should be checked before purchase.
