The register lists here 95 versions with unladen weights from 240 to 1,300 kg, gross vehicle weights from 1,000 to 3,500 kg and widths from 1.68 to 2.55 m.

Trailers of this class serve mainly landscaping and groundwork, trades, and the private transport of machinery, boats or building materials. The span up to 3.5 t gross vehicle weight allows operation on an ordinary category B or BE driving licence. Many examples reach the used market after several years of daily use in landscaping and building firms.

When buying used, what counts is the condition of the frame and loading deck for rust, especially at welds and wheel arches, the condition of the overrun brake and its cables, axles, wheel bearings and tyres, the condition of the side panels, and the ball coupling and jockey wheel. Spare parts are stocked by Dutch trailer dealers and by Kalf itself.
