Kaiser – collective page beyond the named ranges: CJ-5, Gladiator J-series and M715 of the Kaiser Jeep Corporation, four- to eight-cylinder engines from 2,199 to 4,700 cm³
Kaiser Jeep Corporation was formed in 1953 when the Kaiser group took over the insolvent Willys-Overland and continued the civilian Jeep business in Toledo, Ohio; in 1970 the division passed to American Motors (AMC). This page gathers the models not assigned to a named range: the CJ-5 as the civilian successor to the wartime Jeep, the Gladiator J-series pick-ups, and the M715, a truck built for the US Army on the Gladiator base between 1967 and 1969.

The register lists here 5 versions with displacement from 2,199 to 4,700 cm³ from four- to eight-cylinder engines, unladen weights from 1,070 to 2,300 kg, gross vehicle weights from 1,454 to 3,400 kg and widths from 1,500 to 2,020 mm.
The CJ-5 is among the longest-produced civilian off-roaders in the United States and served agriculture, forestry and private use, while the Gladiator and M715 positioned Jeep in the light truck and military vehicle segment alongside makers such as Dodge and International Harvester.
When buying used, key points are frame and floor rust, the history of engine and axle swaps – CJ-5s were often fitted with later AMC engines –, the condition of the transfer case and axles, and for the M715 the availability of military parts; Jeep specialists and military vehicle parts dealers stock the common wear items.
