With a span from compact farmyard tractors to large tractors over 200 hp, Jotodeer covers a broad market segment and, like other Chinese export brands, targets price-sensitive operations in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America, where parts and service networks of established Western brands are thinner on the ground. Such a wide power span within a single brand is typical of Chinese makers, who often assemble their model range from bought-in finished components of different size classes.

On used Jotodeer tractors, operating hours and the condition of the diesel count, along with the tightness of the injection system, the condition of clutch and gearbox, and on the large models also the condition of four-wheel drive and cab. Parts availability depends heavily on the individual importer, since Jotodeer does not maintain a closed Western dealer network.
