Such small, mostly two-axle compact tractors serve in hobby holdings, around horses, in fruit and vegetable growing and as mower carriers, where small size and manoeuvrability are decisive and a low seat height and narrow track width matter as much as raw power.

Buying used, it first matters under which dealer name a model actually ran, to find matching parts; technically the clutch, PTO and hydraulic pump count, since these small tractors are often serviced sparingly and parts supply varies by import route, so it helps to keep the original sales invoice or dealer paperwork with the machine.

On compact tractors of this very small power class, the PTO is often only single-speed at 540 rpm, and the three-point hitch, where standardised under ISO 730 at all, usually matches the smallest category 0 for tractors under around 20 hp.
