This page gathers the JCB road-building machines the register could not assign to a named range: the T-series dumpers from 1T to 9T, whose number states the payload in tonnes, and the VM-series rollers. The VM prefix goes back to Vibromax, the German compaction-equipment maker JCB acquired in 2000, whose roller programme has since continued under the VM prefix; ROPS on the 6T ROPS stands for the standardised Roll-Over Protective Structure.

Dumpers and rollers of this kind are the typical transport and compaction machines on building sites for spoil, aggregate and asphalt; JCB competes here alongside specialist dumper and roller makers such as Wacker Neuson and Bomag. The swivel skip fitted to many small dumpers lets them tip to the side rather than only forward, which saves manoeuvring space on tight sites.
On used dumpers, the condition of the skip and tipping mechanism, tyres and brakes, and engine and hydraulic condition all matter; on the rollers, the condition of the drum, vibration bearings and the tightness of the water-spray system count; spare parts run through the JCB dealer network.
