On a used IHC F-type tractor, the condition of the respective engine counts, for the diesel versions especially the injection pump and injectors, for the petrol versions the carburettor and ignition system, along with rust on the frame and sheet-metal parts and the tightness of the gearbox and axles; because production has ended, parts are mostly only available through specialist dealers and collector circles.
