HWR – other models: the collective page of trailers outside the named ranges, from the BSE 850 and BM 1500 to the BST 2000 and LHT14400, 250 to 3,920 kg unladen weight, 850 to 14,400 kg gross weight

This page gathers the HWR trailers the register could not assign to a named range. The types BM 1500, BMT 2000, BSE 850, BST 2000, LHT14400, PTT 1600 and PTT1600 clearly follow the same system: the number in the type name matches the gross weight in kilograms, from 850 on the BSE 850 to 14,400 on the LHT14400. As with many smaller trailer brands, the programme is drawn from registration data, in which each model is listed individually with its technical values.

The register lists here 7 versions with unladen weights from 250 to 3,920 kg, gross weights from 850 to 14,400 kg and widths from 1,700 to 2,550 mm; one recorded length stands at 8,280 mm.

The span from the just under 850 kg light trailer to the 14.4-tonne trailer shows a programme running from the light class towable on an ordinary car licence to the range that requires a lorry or a suitably rated tow vehicle with a category C or CE licence. On the lighter versions, besides the trailer's gross weight the tow vehicle's rated towing capacity is also decisive, on the heavier ones the tow vehicle's rating for fifth-wheel or drawbar load.

On a used example, the lighter versions call for checking axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the overrun brake and rust on frame and drawbar, the heavier ones the braking system, axles and frame for distortion as well as the condition of the coupling and support leg; lighting, plug, tyres and rims matter throughout. Parts for such small brands usually run through independent trailer workshops.
