Honda Other models

The register lists here 29 versions with 7.8 to 25 kW (10.5 to 33 hp); among the drives, diesel engines, typical of the H and HT types, sit alongside petrol units used in the smaller HF garden tractors.

At this power level Honda does not serve the market for large field tractors but the segment of small yard, garden and grounds-care machines, where the brand benefits from its reputation for reliable small engines from motorcycle and equipment manufacturing, competing in Japan directly with Kubota, Iseki and Yanmar for the same customers.

Buying used, on the diesel types check the condition of the injection pump and starter, on the petrol-powered HF models the carburettor and ignition system, and generally the condition of the mower deck or attachments, belt drives and hydrostatic transmission; since Honda's agricultural machines are mainly common in Japan, sourcing parts outside that market is often harder than for European or American garden tractors.
