Rental and resale of used trailers of this type in the Netherlands mostly runs through local trailer workshops and online marketplaces.
When buying a used HMS trailer, what counts is the condition of the overrun brake, axle and wheel bearings, corrosion on the chassis and load floor, and on the Variant range the condition of the side panels and ramps. Lighting and the match between the chassis number and the Dutch registration data also belong in the inspection; spare parts run through Dutch trailer workshops.
