With an unladen weight of 6,960 kg, payload comes to 26,040 kg. At 13.85 m long, 2.55 m wide, with an 8.67 m wheelbase and eight wheels, the trailer sits on a long, multi-axle chassis that spreads the high gross weight along the full vehicle length.

From class O3 upwards, trailers of this size are generally fitted with air brakes rather than the simple overrun brake used on light trailers. Towing it as a combination requires driving licence category C1E or CE in the EU, depending on the combined train weight. With such a long, multi-axle build, even axle-load distribution across all eight wheels becomes its own technical point, and the steering behaviour of the rear axles matters when manoeuvring in tight yards.

When buying a used unit, check the frame: after more than two decades, corrosion on the main rails, worn pins in the spring eyes and fatigue cracks in the welds are typical signs of age. Check the air lines and reservoirs for leaks, listen to the bearings on all eight wheels for play, check the lighting system against current regulations, and look for kinks in the long frame that point to earlier overload.
