Hattat is one of Turkey's large tractor manufacturers, with a plant in Adapazarı in Sakarya province and roots in the family business Hattat Holding, founded in 1943. The models gathered here span several ranges – the multi-purpose A series from A50 to A110 Maxi, the more compact C and H ranges, and the larger T range (T4100) – and the type number largely denotes power or build size. The engines overwhelmingly come from the British maker Perkins, with only one model carrying an in-house Hattat engine.

Alongside Türk Traktör and Başak, Hattat is one of Turkey's leading manufacturers, in one of Europe's largest tractor markets, and exports to the Middle East, Africa and increasingly Europe; the close tie to Perkins engines secures an internationally established, service-friendly power base across the different ranges.
On used examples, what counts is hours and service history on the Perkins engine, the condition of the injection pump and turbocharger on the T models, clutch and gearbox, and the hydraulic system; parts for the Perkins engines are widely available internationally, while Hattat's own fittings mainly come through Turkish dealers.
