When buying a used Hake, the condition and operating hours of the FPT diesel engine, the tightness of the cooling and injection systems, and on the vineyard tractors the condition of the narrow-track axles and bodywork guards against vine shoots all matter most; spare parts for the FPT engine are available through the international FPT Industrial network. For the simply numbered types, tyre condition, the PTO and hydraulic connections are additionally part of the standard check.
