This page gathers the Gravely machines the register could not assign to a named range – from the walking tractor to the riding garden tractor. Gravely was founded in 1916 by Benjamin Franklin Gravely in Dunbar, West Virginia, and first built walking tractors with driven attachments for mowing, ploughing and snow clearing; from the 1960s riding tractors such as the 8000 range were added, and the brand was taken over by Ariens in 1982. The type logic of the riding models usually gives the range in the first digit and engine power or equipment in the following ones, S marks higher equipment, GT the garden-tractor line.

The register lists here 8 versions with 8.9 to 16 kW (12 to 22 hp), with petrol engines from Kohler and Briggs & Stratton.

Gravely is regarded in North America as a heritage brand of professional grounds care and the upper end of the garden and estate market, with a loyal collector scene especially for the old walking tractors, which remain in use to this day thanks to their sturdy build and the wide range of attachments.

On the walking tractors, the condition of the transmission and attachment clutch and rust on the frame matter; on the riding models, engine condition, mower deck and drive belts, battery and electrics, and tyre condition; parts run through Ariens and specialist Gravely dealers in the USA.
