Fiatagri 66 series (1984–1990s) – 35-66 to 80-66: the first number as hp, DT for four-wheel drive, V for vineyard, F for orchard, the compact and specialty tractors before New Holland, 26 to 59 kW

Fiatagri was from 1984 the name under which Fiat ran its farm machinery, and the 66 series the programme of small and medium tractors of that time – the successor to the Nastro d'Oro types in the 35 to 80 hp class. The type logic has two parts: the first number gives the output in hp, the 66 the series; appended letters explain the version – DT for Doppia Trazione, four-wheel drive, V for Vigneto, the narrow vineyard tractor, F for Frutteto, the orchard tractor of medium width, S for a special version, Primo and Turbo for the later upgrades. A 55-66 V DT is therefore a 55 hp vineyard tractor with four-wheel drive. The engines were Fiat's own three- and four-cylinders with direct injection.

The register lists 13 versions with 25.8 to 58.9 kW, 1,551 to 3,908 cm³ with three or four cylinders, torque from 91 to 251 Nm, unladen weights from 1,310 to 2,920 kg, lengths from 2,885 to 3,770 mm, widths from 1,360 to 2,420 mm and heights from 1,360 to 2,525 mm – the 1,360 mm of the narrowest V model shows the vineyard layout.

The 66s were the tractors of Italian specialty crops – wine, olives, fruit – and were built into the 1990s before New Holland continued the range as TN and TL after the 1991 merger.

Used 66s are common in Italy, southern France and Spain; when buying, engine condition, gearbox and clutch, the front axle on DT models and, on vineyard tractors, the steering, which suffers from constant lock, are what count.
