The register lists five versions with a rated output of 1.1 kW throughout, an efficiency span of 76.9 to 78.3% at full load and 78.2 to 78.7% at 75% load. Frame size stays at 90 across all models, protection is IP55 throughout, and the voltage entries are mostly 400/415/460 V. Manufacturing takes place in China, tested under the 2019 GEMS determination for three-phase motors, mostly using test method 2-1-1B.

As a drive for fans, extract systems and ventilation units, the Y2AE90L-6 covers the slow-running part of Fantech's programme, through which the company supplies mainly the Australia-Pacific market for commercial and residential ventilation. The six-pole design at roughly 900 rpm synchronous speed suits fans where lower running noise matters more than high airflow.

When swapping or buying used, check bearing condition, insulation resistance of the winding, visible corrosion on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate showing frame size, pole count and protection class.
