In the production period marked Bauphase 3, the Bavarian manufacturer Eicher also built an all-wheel-drive version with a large-displacement six-cylinder engine in the 3145 Allrad. The model was built from 1982 to 1990.

The Eicher 3145 Allrad carries an air-cooled six-cylinder diesel engine with 5,890 cm³ of displacement, producing 145 hp, or 106.1 kW, at 2,300 rpm, and developing 523 Nm of torque. At 5,740 kg, 4,335 mm long, 2,785 mm high, 2,430 mm wide and with a 2,730 mm wheelbase, the machine reaches a top speed of 40 km/h.

At 106.1 kW, 523 Nm of torque and with all-wheel drive, the 3145 Allrad is the most powerful and heaviest of the Eicher versions considered here, built for primary tillage with heavy ploughs and cultivators on large areas, where the all-wheel drive puts pulling power onto the ground even on loose or wet soils. At 40 km/h, the machine also reaches the highest travel speed among the models considered, making it better suited to longer haulage runs.

When buying an all-wheel-drive tractor used, the condition of the front axle with its drive joints and bearings matters, as these see greater strain in continuous use than with a rear-axle-only design. Also worth checking are the cooling airflow of the air-cooled six-cylinder engine, the clutch given the high torque of 523 Nm, and corrosion damage to the frame and mudguards.
