Dongfeng Dong Feng

The register lists here 14 versions with 15 to 66 kW (20 to 90 hp) from three- and four-cylinders, all with diesel engines.

Dongfeng is among the large Chinese tractor makers for the home market and for export to developing countries in Asia and Africa, where simple engineering, low purchase price and rugged construction weigh more than against western brands. The Dongfeng group is also one of China's largest makers of commercial vehicles and drivetrain components, which eases the parts supply for this product line.

On used examples, the condition of the clutch and mechanical gearbox, the tightness of the YTO or Changchai diesel engine, rust on bodywork and mudguards, and the availability of parts outside China count; parts run through importers and independent farm-machinery dealers.
