The six-cylinder diesel engine with 6,057 cm³ of displacement produces 126 hp, or 92.7 kW, at 2,300 rpm, with 552 Nm of torque. At 5,460 kg, 4,587 mm long, 2,922 mm high and 2,304 mm wide, the tractor reaches a top speed of 40 km/h with a 2,647 mm wheelbase.

With six cylinders and just under 93 kW, the Agrotron 128 belongs to the upper mid-range of field tractors, the kind needed for tilling larger areas with a plough, cultivator and heavier disc harrows, and for working with stronger trailers and forage wagons. The 40 km/h road approval allows brisk transport runs between yard and field. Compared with a comparably powerful four-cylinder, the six-cylinder layout runs more smoothly and with less vibration, which is noticeable in the cab over long working days.

When buying a used Agrotron 128, the condition of the six-cylinder engine matters, particularly oil consumption and running noise at high hours, along with the tightness of the cooling system. Also worth checking are the clutch and gearbox under load, the function of the hydraulic valves for implements, and the condition of the brakes given the 40 km/h chassis typical of this class.
