Damco Other models

The register lists here 125 versions with kerb weights from 270 to 1,900 kg and gross vehicle weights from 1,000 to 5,400 kg, at widths from 1,750 to 2,560 mm; length is only recorded for a small part of the models and ranges from 4,760 to 10,850 mm.

The weight range from a light car trailer to a tandem-axle trailer for light haulage shows that the DA and DK ranges cover a broad segment from private to light commercial use. Such trailers are typically towed by a car or light commercial vehicle and serve tradespeople, farmers and private users alike as everyday transport.

When buying used, check the axle and the overrun brake system, brake pads and cables, corrosion at the drawbar and floor panel, and the function of the lighting system; on tandem-axle versions also the condition of the equalising beam and wheel bearings. On open versions also check the side boards and their catches, on closed bodies the tightness of the lid or tarpaulin.
