DAF, the Dutch truck brand founded in 1928 in Eindhoven, has belonged to the US group PACCAR since 1996 and ranks among Europe's largest makers of heavy commercial vehicles. This collective page combines under the FAV 1800 type code both classic chassis of the letter series – with DH, DHR, DHS and DHTD as variants of the drive and body configuration and DT for the tractor unit – and the considerably younger CF65, DAF's mid-weight range built since the 1990s.
