The register lists here 6 versions with unladen weights from 2,010 to 9,580 kg and gross weight ratings from 3,500 to 13,400 kg. Lengths range from 9,050 to 11,400 mm, widths from 2,460 to 2,550 mm.

At lengths of 9 to 11 m and gross weights up to 13.4 tonnes, the VWZ range covers medium to heavier-class freight and machinery transport; the lighter versions near the 3.5-tonne mark can still be towed on an ordinary car licence, the heavier ones need a suitably rated towing vehicle. The comparatively narrow length span against a widely varying gross weight shows the versions differ mainly in axle count and axle load.

On a used example, check the frame and chassis rails for cracks and corrosion, the condition of the axle units and suspension, the brake system with its linkage and pads, and the drawbar eye and parking support. On the long versions, also check the torsional stiffness of the frame, and on the heavier versions the alignment of the multi-axle undercarriage; wear parts come from the Dutch commercial-vehicle parts trade.
