The ratio of an unladen weight up to 800 kg to a gross weight up to 3,000 kg shows a wide payload range – from the light car-trailer class to versions already reaching the class of smaller tandem trailers with a high payload, for building materials, machinery or vehicle transport.

For a used Concar trailer, the checklist covers the chassis and load platform for corrosion and deformation, the condition of the overrun actuator and braking system especially on the heavier CE and CB types, the axle bearings and tyres, and the function of the lighting system; on the CE 30 types with the highest payload, it is also worth matching the tyre load rating against the actual gross weight. Spare parts for axles and the overrun actuator are usually generic AL-KO or Knott components for this design.
