The Absolut CVT is Steyr's flagship series, built since 2019 at the St. Valentin plant. The CVT suffix stands for continuously variable transmission, which regulates travel speed independently of engine speed without steps; the four-digit number after Absolut CVT reflects the respective power tier and rises from 6185 to 6240. As part of the CNH group, the Absolut CVT shares its technical base with comparable series from Case IH and New Holland, while competing on the market under the Steyr name.
