Chery – other harvesting machines: the collective page outside the named ranges, the 4LZ-5B and 8000A, 92 to 118 kW, Yuchai diesel engines from China
This page gathers the harvesting machines the register lists under the Chery brand without assigning them to a named range: the 4LZ-5B and 8000A models. Chery is a Chinese vehicle group headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui province, which alongside passenger cars also runs an agricultural-machinery division. Both models are powered by diesel engines from the Chinese maker Yuchai, one of China's largest independent engine builders, which supplies engines to numerous farm-machinery and commercial-vehicle makers. Such combinations of a car group with an attached farm-machinery division are common among Chinese makers, because sheet-metal production, purchasing and distribution structures can partly be shared between passenger-car and farm-machinery output.

The register lists here 2 versions with 92 to 118 kW, or 123 to 158 hp, from Yuchai diesel engines.
Such machines are part of the fast-growing Chinese range of self-propelled harvesters, which in recent years has increasingly spread into eastern Europe, Russia and central Asia, where it competes with European and American brands for price-conscious farms. For European buyers the appeal usually lies in the price against established brands, while spare-parts supply and resale value are still regarded as less certain than with traditional makers.
On used machines of this origin, the operating hours and maintenance state of the Yuchai engine, the condition of the threshing and separating unit, the tightness of the hydraulics, and the availability of spare parts – in Europe usually through specialist importers of Chinese farm machinery – all matter.
