CBT – other models: the collective page of the Brazilian tractors of Companhia Brasileira de Tratores from São Carlos, from the 1020 to the 8840, 52 to 89 kW, engines from Mercedes-Benz, Perkins, MWM and Detroit Diesel
CBT stands for Companhia Brasileira de Tratores, a Brazilian tractor maker based in São Carlos in the state of São Paulo. This page gathers the brand's models that the register could not assign to a named range, from smaller types such as the 1020 and 1090A through the 2000 and 3000 series to the heavy 8000-type models from the 8060 to the 8840, plus the special models 2105 and 2105 Bufalo. The four-digit type designations order the models by size class, with the 8000 series denoting the brand's most powerful tractors.

The register lists 11 versions here with 52 to 89 kW, or 70 to 120 hp. The engines come mainly from Mercedes-Benz, alongside units from Perkins, MWM, Detroit Diesel and CBT's own production; all models run on diesel.
CBT was among the Brazilian tractor makers that, alongside internationally established brands such as Massey Ferguson, Valmet and Ford, supplied the domestic market, focusing on medium and heavy tractors for agriculture in the state of São Paulo and neighbouring regions. The broad mix of engines from German and American suppliers reflects the sourcing practice of Brazilian makers at the time.
When buying a used CBT, the condition and availability of the Mercedes-Benz and MWM engines matter most, since factory parts supply for the brand appears no longer to exist; gearbox, hydraulics and tyres should be checked carefully as with any older Brazilian agricultural tractor, with spare parts usually sourced through independent machinery dealers and local engine specialists.
