Bunk Other models

The register lists 96 versions with unladen weights from 300 to 7,650 kg and gross weights from 850 to 28,000 kg. Lengths are recorded for 17 of the 96 models and run from 3,600 to 10,900 mm, widths from 1,660 to 2,550 mm.

The wide range from 850 kg to 28 tonnes gross weight shows that the Bunk name covers both light transport trailers for trade and agriculture and heavy tandem and tridem versions for machinery and bulk goods transport, built for tractors on one end and truck combinations on the other. Such broadly branched collective pages arise when a register brings together several product lines grown over the years under one brand name.

On the lighter models, check the axle, drawbar and sides; on the heavy versions also the frame, welds, brake system and, on tippers, the hydraulics. Rust on load-bearing parts needs particular attention on older build years. Parts for axles and brakes are available through the general trailer accessory trade.
