Carry-deck cranes such as Broderson's IC range occupy a niche between the forklift and the classic mobile crane: they lift and move loads over short distances inside factory buildings, during machine changeovers or on job sites with little room, where larger truck cranes cannot turn. The four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering of many models allow manoeuvring in the tightest space.
