This page gathers the trailers listed under Bateson Trailers that were not assigned to a named range. Alongside the letter-coded types AT, GP, PL and PT, the register lists the Model 2716 as a separate number within the range; the letter codes themselves are not broken down further in the register.

The register lists here 7 versions with unladen weights from 650 to 1,020 kg, gross weights from 2,600 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 4,600 to 6,440 mm and widths from 2,100 to 2,300 mm.

The O2 class begins at a gross weight of 750 kg, below which a trailer could also be driven unbraked; above that limit, an overrun brake is required throughout, its mechanism converting the tow vehicle's braking force through the drawbar mechanically onto the trailer's own axle. Towing only needs licence category B as long as the combination's gross weight stays below 3,500 kg.

With gross weights up to 3.5 tonnes, these trailers belong to the classic O2 class for transporting machinery, materials and cargo in the private and small-business segment of the British market, where they compete against numerous other British and European multi-purpose trailers of similar size.

On a used purchase, the condition of the overrun brake, corrosion on the galvanised frame, the load deck, the axle bearings, the tyres and lighting, and the load capacity of ramps and sides all matter. Spare parts run through the British trailer trade.
