The register lists here 9 versions with unladen weights from 570 to 1,500 kg, gross weights from 1,200 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 4,250 to 6,300 mm and widths from 2,000 to 2,500 mm.

With gross weights up to 3,500 kg, all versions listed here fall into EU trailer category O2, for which an overrun brake is required above 750 kg. On livestock trailers, the load additionally shifts unevenly, since live animals can move around during the journey; the partitions therefore serve not only to divide the space but also to limit that load shift on the deck. Towing only needs licence category B as long as the combination's gross weight stays below 3,500 kg.

In this weight class, Barbot trailers compete with numerous European manufacturers for the market in horse and livestock transport as well as equipment and material transport among agricultural and private users.

On a used purchase, corrosion on the frame and sides, the condition of the overrun brake, the floorboards and partitions on livestock trailers, the axle bearings, and the tyres and lighting all matter. Spare parts run through the general trailer trade.
