The register lists 20 versions with unladen weights from 635 to 1,450 kg, gross weights from 940 to 1,700 kg, lengths from 6,120 to 7,890 mm and widths from 2,060 to 2,220 mm.

Avondale was among the British touring caravan makers whose caravans are towed as braked trailers behind cars and light tow vehicles; the narrow span between unladen and gross weight is typical of touring caravans of this size and limits the payload allowed for gas bottles, water and luggage.

On a used British touring caravan of this type, damp in the floor, walls and roof, the condition of windows and roof lights, axle, overrun brake and tyres, and the gas, water and electrical connections all count; the door and body layout common in the United Kingdom for left-hand traffic needs attention when used on the continent. The hinges of doors and lockers, as well as the condition of the drawbar and its safety chain, should also be checked before purchase.
