The 8400 series forms Massey Ferguson's upper power class at the Beauvais plant. Massey Ferguson has belonged to the AGCO group since 1994, which builds the brand's large field tractors at Beauvais. The four models MF 8450, 8460, 8470 and 8480 are staggered by rising power through the last two digits of their designation and all carry a six-cylinder diesel engine with a uniform rated speed of 2,200 rpm.
