The TC07 is powered by a water-cooled diesel engine delivering 19 hp or 13.5 kW. At 550 kg unladen weight, 2,400 mm length, 1,100 mm width and 1,800 mm height on a 1,545 mm wheelbase, the machine reaches a design top speed of 16 km/h.
At just 550 kg unladen weight and barely 20 hp, the TC07 is a light transporter for the close range of yard and steep slope, not built for road transport over long distances; its low top speed of 16 km/h sits far below the threshold of the German T licence class. Water cooling allows, despite the compact build, a diesel engine with even temperature control even under continuous load on a slope, where an air-cooled engine would vary more.
When buying a used TC07, the condition of the radiator and coolant lines for tightness and the frame for distortion matter, since light transporters of this build are exposed to particular stress when working on steep slopes. Brakes and steering should be checked with particular care because of use on slopes, as should the load platform and its mounting points for wear.
