ABLAS Other models

The register lists 42 versions with unladen weights from 270 to 984 kg, gross weights from 1,200 to 2,000 kg and widths from 1,600 to 2,330 mm; as length the register gives 4,250 mm.

Trailers of this weight class, between a light trailer and a light car trailer, serve everyday hauling of garden waste, building material, motorcycles or small machinery and are towed behind cars or light commercial vehicles; the span of gross weights covers both unbraked and braked versions.

When buying used, the frame for rust and distortion, axles and wheel bearings, the overrun brake system on braked versions, side panels and deck for wear, and the lighting, number plate holder and condition of the coupling head and jockey wheel are worth checking. Several of these codes also appear again with the AL suffix or in altered spelling, so the register lists closely related variants of the same short designations separately.
