The Valmet 355 belongs to the Tractors group and was produced by Valmet. It is an agricultural tractor with a power output of 61 hp (44.9 kW) and a displacement of 3,298 cm³. The engine has three cylinders and the machine measures 3,710 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width and 2,460 mm in height.

This page gathers the Valmet tractors the register could not assign to a named range – the Finnish state group Valtion Metallitehtaat that built Finland's first tractor in 1951 in Tourula near Jyväskylä with the Valmet 15, moved tractor production to Suolahti in 1969 and in 1960 founded a second tractor plant in Mogi das Cruzes near São Paulo, which still produces today as Valtra do Brasil. The type logic: the early models 15, 20 and 33 give the hp class, the three-digit 359, 361, 502, 565, 702 and 705 of the 1960s and 1970s the size in the first digit and the generation in the following ones, D the diesel, -4 four-wheel drive; the Brazilian 65, 85, 118 and 148 give the hp class, and the 118 Alcool is a tractor with ethanol engine from the Brazilian alcohol programme of the 1980s – noted in the register as fuel Alcohol. The engines are Valmet's own from Linnavuori, in Brazil MWM diesels built under licence; in 1997 the name passed to Valtra with the sale to Sisu.
