Before South Korea's Tong Yang Moolsan renamed itself TYM in 2020, it built both its own tractors and compact tractors on contract for major brands under the Tong Yang name. Founded in 1951, the company entered farm machinery production in 1968 through a merger with Korea Light Metal.

The register bundles 31 live models from this era, including Korean-built Case IH compact tractors such as the Tong Yang Case IH JX95 and MX120, alongside in-house ranges such as Dorado and Grand Prix. Output ranges from 19 to 97 kW, or 25 to 130 hp.
That dual role as contract manufacturer and brand owner has continued through the company's history: in 2016 TYM acquired US maker Kukje (Branson), having already entered the US market on its own in 2004.
The range's spread, from small 25-hp compacts to 130-hp models, shows how broad Tong Yang's line-up already was before the rebrand.
Since several of these Tong Yang models were built under licence or on contract for Case IH, John Deere and other brands, the engine and drivetrain are often identical to those makers' equivalent compact tractors; spares can therefore often also be sourced through the Case IH or John Deere dealer network when Tong Yang's own supply falls short. That does not apply to the in-house ranges such as Dorado and Grand Prix, where TYM's own parts logistics are the only option.
