The Lite Ace is Toyota's small cab-over van, introduced in 1970 as a compact addition below the HiAce and built since then across several generations as a panel van, minibus and pickup. The range largely shares its platform with the near-identical TownAce, sold in Japan through a different dealer channel; chassis codes such as KM on the generation captured here denote a diesel engine from Toyota's C series. Some of the vehicles recorded in the register carry Dutch designations such as Gesloten Bestel, meaning closed cargo body, pointing to vehicles imported from the Netherlands.
