The brand itself has had a turbulent path: the Zweibrücken plant belonged to Demag until 2002, then to Terex (briefly as "Terex-Demag"), the Demag name returned in 2016, and after Tadano's 2019 acquisition, AC cranes have carried the Tadano brand since 2021.
