Sampo Rosenlew – other models: the collective page of the Finnish combine harvesters outside the named ranges, from the 30 and 40 to the SR 2065 and SR500, 65 to 190 kW, Sisu and Valmet engines from Pori
This page gathers the Sampo Rosenlew combine harvesters the register could not assign to a named range – from early models such as the 30 and the 40 through the mid-era 360, 410, 460, 500, 580, 600, 650, 680 and 690 to the newer SR-designated versions such as the SR500, SR-3065, SR3085 and SR 2065. Sampo Rosenlew is based in Pori, Finland, and emerged from the merger of the farm-machinery brand Sampo with the industrial group Rosenlew; the company built the first self-propelled combine harvester designed in Finland and has since remained specialised in harvesting machines built for Nordic conditions. The engines come from the Finnish makers Sisu and Valmet, both brands with a long tradition in diesel-engine building, from which the joint engine maker AGCO Power later emerged.

The register lists here 21 versions with 65 to 190 kW, or 87 to 250 hp, from four-cylinder diesel engines.
Sampo Rosenlew is one of the few independent combine-harvester makers in Europe and covers a significant share of the market in Finland and Scandinavia; the compact design of the machines is built for smaller and irregularly shaped fields and for damp Nordic harvest weather, and the brand also exports to the Baltic states and eastern Europe.
On used combines, the condition of the threshing drum, straw walkers and cleaning sieves, the operating hours and maintenance state of the Sisu or Valmet engine, the tightness of the hydraulics, and rust on the grain tank and header mount all matter; spare parts run through the manufacturer in Pori and specialist agricultural workshops.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
