SAME Frutteto Natural 80

The water-cooled three-cylinder diesel engine displaces 2,887 cm³ and delivers 55 kW at 2,200 rpm, equivalent to 75 horsepower. At a build height of only 2,189 mm, a width of 1,612 mm, a weight of 2,450 kg and a rear hydraulic lift capacity of 3,050 kg, the Frutteto Natural 80 was tailored to the low canopies of orchard plantations.

Orchard tractors with markedly reduced build height and width allow work in plantations with narrow tree rows and low-hanging branches without the cab or exhaust colliding with the trees. A lift capacity of 3,050 kg, high relative to the build height, allows heavier implements such as sprayers or mulchers to be operated despite the compact build.

When buying a used Frutteto Natural 80, the roof and front panelling should be checked for damage from contact with branches, common on intensively used orchard tractors. The hydraulic system should also be tested under load to confirm the lift capacity, which is high for such a compact vehicle. The headlights and indicators on the narrow fenders should also be checked for damage, since they are especially exposed to contact with branches in dense orchard rows.
