Renault Master – the large van range: panel van and chassis in the 3.5-tonne T35 class, dCi diesel of 2.2 to 3.0 litres, 69 to 120 kW
The Master has been the largest van in Renault's line-up since 1980 and is built at the Batilly plant in northern France, where the mechanically identical Opel/Vauxhall Movano and earlier Nissan versions (NV400, Interstar) are also made. Fourgon in the name denotes the closed panel-van body, the number after T the weight class in hundreds of kilograms – T35 thus being the 3.5-tonne version – while H suffixes mark the roof-height class. The diesel has carried the dCi designation for Renault's own common-rail injection since the 2000s; with the Master E-Tech, Renault now also offers a purely electric version of the same range.
