Linde Material Handling, headquartered in Aschaffenburg and part of the KION Group since 2006, ranks among the largest makers of forklift and warehouse trucks worldwide. The V-range vertical order pickers raise the operator, together with the driving station and picking forks, to shelf height so that goods can be taken directly from the high rack; the V marks the vertical design. Many model designations carry the number 48 for the 48-volt battery system common in this class, with further digit strings marking internal equipment and capacity variants.
